Good news, our Fine Arts Building is under renovation this year and the theatre space will only be available to us for the fall. So, we’ve selected a classic play to produce in November.
The Glass Menagerie – is a memory play by Tennessee Williams that premiered in 1944 and catapulted Williams from obscurity to fame. The play has strong autobiographical elements, featuring characters based on its author, his histrionic mother, and his mentally fragile sister. The Glass Menagerie was Williams’ first successful play; he went on to become one of America’s most highly regarded playwrights.
We are making plans for the spring of 2024, but that will have to remain a mystery for now.
